Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, holistic care in small hospital settings, managing a broad spectrum of presentations.
• Perform triage using the Australian Triage Scale (ATS) - ED ONLY
• Respond confidently to a wide range of presentations, from walk-ins to trauma, acute medical events, and general health concerns.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in facilities that may also include aged care beds and subacute care, requiring adaptability to various patient needs.
• Work closely with local GPs, paramedics, and allied health teams in community-focused models of care, acting as a central point of contact for diverse health needs.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current AHPRA registrationas a Registered Nurse (unrestricted).
• Must have full working rightsin Australia (no sponsorship available)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency in:
  • Triage - ED ONLY
  • ALS (Advanced Life Support) - ED ONLY
  • Venepuncture and cannulation - DESIRABLE SKILL
• Confident working in small teams or independentlyin MPS settings, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of emergency and generalist nursing principles.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skillsacross a diverse patient cohort.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skillswith healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
• Open to travel and 4–12 week locum contracts in regional/remote Australia.
